My Scottish heritage always supports me when I invest my time, energy and money into anything. My attitude primarily is to “get my monies worth” out of every activity. I am 100% committed from beginning to end. I prepared the week before the workshop by journaling to clarify my thoughts, hopes, goals and expectations. Now the benchmark is set and I can come back to this afterwards to reflect and assess my outcome. Next I let go and enter fully into the process. I heed all directives from the facilitator to achieve the maximum outcome. I figure if I don’t I’ve only got myself to blame if I’m disappointed. If I’m told to conserve energy, refrain from talking, listen to your inner self, notice feelings, eat lightly, rest and drink plenty of water…I just trust and do it. I adopt the Yogic notion of “a beginner’s mind” one that is open, willing to accept, non judgmental, suspends all criticism, holds off questioning and plunges whole heartedly into all exercises. This approach allows my experience space to take shape and unfold organically within. From the workshop one phrase echoed deeply bouncing inside me like a mantra was “Breath to Receive”. The breath is life itself and to receive it fully is to really live. I embodied this simple truth through the exercises that circumvented the mind and opened the heart. I felt ALIVE yet more grounded than ever before whilst my body shimmered with energy and light. Mmm I really liked that. Yes, I got MORE than my monies worth! Thanks Karina and the support team and unseen helpers I feel inspired that this type of work, should I dedicate myself to it,
will actually liberate me in a way, which since entering adulthood, I
had begun to conclude was simply not possible. I have certainly had moments
during the integration process when I have felt truly free. On a practical
level, sounding is a great way to release daily stress, while also allowing
for a fun and light-hearted way to bond with my children. I feel especially
excited about discovering my overtones. I loved the Soul Voice workshop with Karina. It went from losing my voice
with the warming-up exercises on the first morning, to miraculously and
very powerfully finding it back in the next exercise! This was exactly
what I had come for - to find my voice. Now I really enjoy sounding at
home while fixing breakfast, in the car on my way somewhere, as a break

“It took me some time from the moment I learned about Karina’s
work, until I was ready to take the courses. Among others, I found back
